Create the ultimate pencil skirt shape whether in stretch or woven fabric, this pattern includes pattern pieces for both. The stretch version is very easy to make whereas the non-stretch requires some sewing knowledge.

Fabrics
Medium weight cottons, denim, linen and some woollens, but please note this skirt is unlined and some fabrics can “seat”. For the stretched version choose woven fabrics with lycra or jersey. 20 cm of fabric should stretch to 25 cm and return to its shape. 

Fabric requirements
1.50 m wide fashion fabric
for the non-stretch with no nap - 0.9 m
for the stretch - 0.8 m

Interfacing
18 cm zipper for the non-stretch version 
Hook and eye for the non-stretch version
0.7 m non-roll elastic for the stretch version
